STUDIOS

Paradise Studio in the Clouds is a professional analog modelling recording studio located in the mountains in Central Portugal with amazing privacy and views.  We used the Universal Audio Apollo and UADs world class plug ins to emulate the best of the analog world. The studio was built by Joules Newell Acoustic Engineering is a world class studio, the only one in Central Portugal. 

RECORDERS

  • Recording is done using LUNA or Logic X and a powerful Mac Mini computer. 

MIXERS

  • We have 24 channels of Universal Apollo channels

  • We use a large 32" touch screen for mixing

MICROPHONES

  • There are a large variety of microphones including classic SM57 and SM58, CM3, AKG and Sennheiser microphones. 

OUTBOARD GEAR

  • 16 channels of Audient ASP 880 pre-amps, 4 TLA tube preamps and 4 USA apollo pre-amp channels

  • We have several vintage Roland Space echos as well as a 19" rack gear model. 

MONITORING

  • The studio uses the Yamaha HS series of speakers and the studio is set up with a subwoofer and for 5.1 mixing.

INSTRUMENTS

  • A variety of guitar amps (Marshall vintage 4x12, Fender Champion, Orange 30watt combo 

  • For bass, we have a Copenhagen Bass labs custom stack as well as a Vintage Trace Elliot stack (2x12, 15") 

  • The studio has a TAMA swingstar kit from 1984. 

  • A large variety of analog and digital synthesisers including ARP Odyssey, Octave CAT, Modular Synth, Nord Lead 2, Yamaha CS-10, Hammond XB-2, Roland D50 and others.
